Syllabus overview
People involved in business, particularly for those in managerial positions, the ability to make effective decisions or to contribute to the decision-making process is of vital importance. The ability to use mathematical techniques is becoming an increasingly important part of the manager’s “tool kit”. The examples and activities utilized within the course will provide some clues as to the range of applications to which Business Decision Analysis (BDA) can be put. Throughout the course, learner will have the opportunity to work on problems relating to investment decisions, marketing and distribution, and product development.
